Rice Paper rolls are a fun family feast to sit around the table and share. Made with rice noodles and rice paper, they are a great recipe choice for people with gluten allergies.
Just lay out all the ingredients in bowls on the table with a large bowl of warm water for dipping the rice paper in. Everyone can choose their fillings and make their own rolls.
We have included recipes for Pickled Carrots & Radishes using our Grainfields Organic Lemon & Ginger liquid and also delicious dipping sauce. The Grainfields Organic Hemp Seed Sprinkle is also a nice addition to the fillings.

Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese Dipping sauce)
- 3 cloves finely chopped or minced garlic
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbls lime juice
- 1 tsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 1tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Pickled Carrots & Radishes
- 2 medium carrots
- 2 small radishes
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tsp cooking salt
- 3/4 cup Grainfields Organic Lemon & Ginger
Slice the carrots and radish into fine sticks or they can be julienned using a food processor.
Place the water in a large bowl to dissolve the salt and sugar. Then add the sliced carrots and radish. Add the Grainfields liquid when the water is lukewarm. Leave for 2 hours until vegetables are slightly floppy. Remove the amount you need and drain well before use.
The rest of the pickled vegetables will keep in the pickling liquid in the fridge for 2 months. Use airtight glass containers, not plastic.
Combine the garlic, fish sauce, lime juice, sweet chilli sauce, sugar and water in a small bowl and mix well.
Adjust the flavour by adding a little more lime juice to make it more sour or more sugar to make it sweeter.
